Andrea was born in 1969 in Casale Monferrato (Italy). He earned a Master Degree in Computer Science (with honors) from Torino University, and later a PhD in Computer Science (2002). After some academic research, he founded an internet company to develop web services, and now works as an Information Technology consultant. He can speak italian (native), english (fluent), spanish (reasonably).

He likes DX-ing since 1990 (mainly CW and low power). He already operated from the Pacific area, namely from Australia (2002) and Marquesas Islands (FO/M). Last DX-activity was from Malta as 9H3MR (June 2003). He is member of the EUDXF.
